As New England’s Division 1 baseball clubs enter the final week of April, there were plenty of memorable moments and big wins to go around over the past weekend.
One moment was, indeed, perfect as Fairfield pulled off a three-game sweep, while Maine did the same against one of its New England rivals within the America East Conference. UConn and Harvard also pulled big series wins.
The weekend was about more than baseball, too. Boston College hosted its ALS Awareness Game on a special Saturday night at America’s Most Beloved Ballpark.
