From California to Florida, Virginia and all the way home, it was another busy weekend of action for New England’s Division 1 college baseball teams.
Maine enjoyed a banner start to the America East slate, its rivals from Connecticut picked up their first win of the season, while the final leg of a spring trip through the Golden State included victories for three other teams.
This past weekend also kept five teams in New England for some head-to-head action. The firsts continue to roll in for Ivy League clubs as Brown became the first from the region to play at home since action resumed last month.
