One of the most exciting weeks of the college baseball year is upon us. The regular season is complete, and 11 of New England’s Division 1 clubs are getting set to compete for conference championships this week. Four will enter their respective brackets as the top seed, while a couple of others used a productive final weekend of the regular season to break into or climb the table.
However, the stakes are even greater than a championship in the coming days, as aspirations of a local NCAA regional are still very much in play.
Harvard already got the local postseason underway, competing in the first-ever, four-team Ivy League Tournament.
This edition of New England Baseball Journal’s Monday roundup covers all of that and the rest of the regional action from the past weekend.
