With just weeks to go before postseason play begins, the conference standings races take on even greater importance. This past weekend’s results were crucial in clinching or nearing playoff berths for several teams.
Several local teams are playing at a national level, meaning that RPI rankings are also coming into the picture. There is a distinct New England flavor to the national ranks after two clubs swept their most recent series.
Elsewhere, an America East rivalry needed a rubber game, the Ivy League featured an impressive sweep, and another perfect weekend was pulled off in the Northeast Conference.
