It was another week of run scoring and series winning for several Division 1 baseball teams in New England.
While two of the region’s three top-75 RPI clubs lost their most recent series, Connecticut posted a 4-1 week that included beating a Big 12 visitor followed by its first Big East sweep of the season at a most crucial time to move back atop of the league standings.
Elsewhere, two other clubs held their ground with at least a share of the top spot in their respective conferences. Bryant did so with a head-to-head series win against a fellow New England foe.
This edition of NEBJ’s Monday roundup covers all of that and the rest of the regional action from this past weekend.
