The final weekend of May featured a mixed bag of conference championship results for Division 1 baseball teams around New England.
Bryant was the lone team to receive an automatic road to Omaha, sweeping through the America East Championship in three straight games after winning the regular-season title. Northeastern and UConn could also be called when the NCAA bracket is revealed on Monday afternoon, but disappointing tournament finishes leave their fate up in the air.
Sacred Heart and Fairfield also reached the championship game of their respective tournaments in the NEC and MAAC. In the former conference, Merrimack won three straight elimination games to climb within one win of the title round.
