The final full weekend of March was full of wins for Division 1 baseball teams around New England.
Another triumphant weekend helped both Boston College and Connecticut rise in the national picture, while there were multiple sweeps to highlight the start of conference play and in a selection of non-conference series. The weekend also marked the start of Ivy League play for all four local clubs.
The Northeast Conference still boasts a pair of New England clubs at the top of its standings, including one that is on a winning streak standing up alongside a prominent powerhouse program.
