Several New England teams continued working their way back from spring break trips and brought the sunshine and blue skies with them, leading to a busy weekend of Division 1 baseball that included three series of head-to-head action between regional clubs both within and outside of conference play.
Elsewhere, two of the region’s perennial powers bounced back after disappointing previous weekends, several teams busted out the bats during huge offensive games, and another local club picked up its first wins of the 2024 season.
While the Northeast Conference and Boston College in the ACC have already begun conference play, the majority of New England’s other teams are headed to that point following final midweek tuneups on Tuesday and Wednesday as well.
This edition of NEBJ’s Monday roundup covers all of that and the rest of the regional action from this past weekend.
