The first weekend of May was another busy one for New England’s Division 1 college baseball programs.
Another series sweep helped Connecticut climb atop the Big East, while Boston College and Northeastern each picked up victories that helped keep their national tournament resumes strong.
Elsewhere, there was a key rivalry series in the Atlantic 10, a continued surge in the Northeast Conference and important gains in America East play. The action also included season finales for multiple teams, as well as the end of Hartford’s Division 1 era.
This edition of New England Baseball Journal’s Monday roundup covers all of that and the rest of the regional action from the past weekend.
