The opening month of the college baseball season has been good to freshmen in the Northeast, as just about every D1 program in New England has seen at least one freshman carve out an impactful role.
While only a month into their respective collegiate careers, these 16 freshmen earned the right to contribute immediately through their work during the fall and winter seasons. They also accurately chose programs in which they could excel from the start.
We offer no predictions of how the next four years will play out for any of these players; instead, we highlight 16 New England freshmen who made immediate impacts in February and March.
