The number of commitments from high school prospects in the Class of 2025 has increased in recent weeks, with seven coming in over the last week. That brings New England's list of '25 commitments to 61 -- most of which have come in since Aug. 1.
With very little baseball on the schedule until the calendar flips to 2025, the recruiting cycle may slow in the coming weeks. In fact, there are NCAA-imposed dead periods and recruiting shutdowns in parts of November, December, and January.
Fear not, 2025 prospects. Commitment season is far from over for 2025 prospects. Last year, more than 140 New England prospects committed to D1 programs, so there figures to be another 75 D1 commitments to be made in the coming months.
