There were plenty of winners across New England throughout the weekend in Division 1 baseball, as the Ivy League and Northeast Conference highlighted returns to conference action.

A pair of Ancient Eight clubs posted sweeps in their return to rivalries, including a historic performance from a Yale senior. Three of the region’s four NEC clubs began their league schedules on a winning note.

In addition, UConn and Rhode Island battled in some local non-conference action, while several other teams picked up series victories.

This week’s edition of New England Baseball Journal’s Monday roundup covers all of those series and the rest of the regional action from the past weekend.
