The month of April is the heart of the college baseball season at the Division 2 and 3 levels.
In New England, the weather is warming and the all-important conference games are dominating the schedule. The races are heating up in advance of postseason play in about a month’s time.
There are familiar teams at the top of their respective conference standings around the region, but some recent performances have helped others surge into contention at the most important time of the season.
