When dissecting the performance of the region’s top Division 2 baseball players this summer, strong pitching was certainly the top story.
One of the top strikeout pitchers in the NECBL plays his college baseball in the Northeast-10 Conference, while the Futures Collegiate Baseball League’s (FCBL) reigning Pitcher of the Year and newest strikeout king both come from the same rival program.
All told, Division 2 players from across New England made an impact in all three of the region’s summer leagues. We list some of the top performances below. Both on the mound and at the plate, these players will look to turn their summer successes into another strong season when 2022 begins.
