The middle of April marks the heart of the Division 3 baseball season in New England, and the victories still aren’t slowing down for the region’s best teams.
Using the latest edition of New England Baseball Journal’s Division 3 Coaches Poll as a guide, each of the top six teams can count their loss total on one hand. Despite that fact and some changing within the past week of play, there is still little competition when it comes to determining No. 1.
Lengthy win streaks start at the very top of this ranking, but two clubs jumped back into the top-10 fold as a result of their recent play. The latest group still includes representation from five different conferences, including three NEWMAC and NESCAC teams.
NEBJ’s Division 3 Coaches Poll, which will be released on Thursdays during the 2024 season, is voted upon by coaches and sports information directors throughout New England. Those interested in participating in the voting should email jkummins@baseballjournal.com for more information.
