The recent completion of the Division 3 College World Series means it’s time for one final, season-ending edition of New England Baseball Journal’s Coaches Poll.

The results of the NCAA regionals and World Series in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, left no voters doubting the region’s best team, but postseason play did change the order throughout the remainder of the top-10. This final poll of 2021 includes three teams from the powerful Little East Conference, as well as two others from three different leagues.

Throughout the spring, the cream of the crop in the region settled itself quite quickly as only three teams held the No. 1 spot at any point. However, the top team at season’s end was not one of them and emerged from the pack after winning a conference title as the lower seed and enjoying a great postseason run.

Voted upon by a panel of coaches and sports information directors throughout the region, NEBJ’s Division 3 Coaches Poll was released weekly throughout the 2021 season.
