Whether the games have been played amidst cold, snowy weather close to home or in warmer climates down south and out west, the Division 3 baseball season is officially underway for the majority of New England teams.
The return of regular action means that New England Baseball Journal’s Division 3 Coaches Poll is back on a weekly basis. This marks our first in-season edition of 2022.
The season is still very young, but four teams -- including both of the top two -- within the NEBJ ranks have undefeated records with between one and three games under their belts. Nine of the 10 ranked teams have held positions since our preseason poll, but the one addition is among the undefeated group.
NEBJ’s Division 3 Coaches Poll is voted upon by coaches and sports information directors throughout New England and will be released weekly on Wednesdays during the season. Coaches and SIDs interested in participating in the voting should email [email protected] for more information.
