With another busy week of action in the rear view, the wins have kept piling up for New England’s top programs.
The top four teams in New England Baseball Journal’s latest Division 3 Coaches Poll all have at least 14 wins under their belts. Eastern Connecticut and UMass Boston have remained perfect in Little East play and continue to hold down prime positioning in the regional poll.
Two clubs climbed the ranks in the poll’s fifth in-season edition of 2022. One team has made a three-spot jump from the previous poll. Outside the top-10, just two other teams received double-digit points for consideration in the rankings.
NEBJ’s Division 3 Coaches Poll is voted upon by coaches and sports information directors throughout New England and will be released weekly on Wednesdays during the season. Coaches and SIDs interested in participating in the voting should email jkummins@baseballjournal.com for more information.
