The calendar has flipped from March to April, but there is still plenty of week-to-week change in New England Baseball Journal’s Division 3 Coaches Poll.
While the upper echelon has remained the same for the entire season so far, this fifth in-season installment includes two new teams as compared to a week ago.
The 10 teams ranked this week still come from five different conferences, with the NESCAC providing three teams to the picture for the first time in 2023. One interesting tidbit from this week’s poll is that the top five teams come from five different leagues, a feat that also had not previously been achieved this season.
NEBJ’s Division 3 Coaches Poll is voted upon by coaches and sports information directors throughout New England. It will typically be released weekly on Wednesdays during the season.
