Experience? Fourth-year coach Justin Blood (Swanzey, N.H.) has plenty of it. He’s been through this program-building thing a time or two.
Before returning home to New Hampshire’s Monadnock Region, Blood spent a transformative decade leading Hartford to high D1 highs, including its lone America East championship in 2018. He was also a part of Franklin Pierce’s rise during his playing career and helped UConn reach its first-ever NCAA Super Regional in 2011 as one of Jim Penders’ assistant coaches.
The Owls, he believes, are on the right path.
