All seven conferences with New England-based teams are stepping towards the conclusion of their seasons with conference championships taking place through the weekend.
Some conferences already contested “pod” play and/or single-elimination rounds within their tournaments, the main events -- mostly in the form of double-elimination brackets -- are still to come. The Little East became the first to reach that point, starting its six-team tournament on Wednesday afternoon.
Once all of the champions are crowned by early Sunday evening, the focus will shift to the reveal of NCAA tournament brackets on Monday, May 13 at 12 noon.
