March is here, and for our region’s Division 3 college baseball programs, that means the 2025 spring season is getting into full swing.
As the new year kicks off, NEBJ is here with a look at the top local teams in the form of its annual Preseason Coaches Poll. Unsurprisingly, the top two remain elites and rank highly in the D3baseball.com/NCBWA Preseason Top 25 as well after both concluded their respective 2024 seasons at the College World Series in Eastlake, Ohio.
Like the Preseason All-NEBJ Team, the top-10 poll includes representation from five different conferences. Four of the top five teams, though, are from different leagues, and six clubs are coming off seasons with 30 or more wins.
NEBJ’s Division 3 Coaches Poll, which will be released on Thursdays during the 2025 season, is voted upon by coaches and sports information directors throughout New England. Those interested in participating in the voting should email [email protected] for more information.
