With the spring of 2022 getting underway in earnest throughout the New England region, NEBJ’s Division 3 Coaches Poll is back for another season.

Eight of the 10 teams that were ranked to conclude 2021 held places to start the new season, including five conference champions and a pair of No. 1 seeds in national tournament play. Two teams have already left the region for warmer temperatures and played one weekend series.

The D3 baseball world has undergone change as the nation’s eight regions -- which were previously identified geographically -- have been split into 10 numbered regions for NCAA tournament selection purposes. New England teams make up Region 1 (GNAC, North Atlantic, NESCAC, NEWMAC) and Region 2 (Commonwealth Coast, Little East, MASCAC, NECC, Brandeis).

NEBJ’s poll will continue to cover all clubs based in the six New England states. Below is the preseason edition.
