It was a unique weekend of regional round action for New England’s teams as all eight clubs that represented the region in the Division 3 Baseball Championship were sent to enemy territory.
As the 60-team field became 16 nationwide ahead of this weekend’s Super Regionals, two local teams emerged and will now find themselves on home turf with the opportunity to win just two more games to advance to the College World Series in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
