Conference play is in full swing for New England’s Division 1 teams. This past weekend’s action offered some spring-like weather and plenty of highlights, including some America East and Ivy League clubs beginning to turn their records around.
While UConn and Bryant kept up their trends of winning series as two of the top teams in the region, UMass Lowell earned two wins in its America East debut; Harvard, Dartmouth, and Yale did the same in the Ancient Eight; and Northeastern and Rhode Island won series away from home.
In the MAAC, Quinnipiac was dominant in a sweep and earned a milestone victory in the process. Fairfield came from behind to post a series win of its own behind a pair of strong pitching performances on Sunday.
