Dartmouth played a lot of baseball on its own, cracking the NCAA record books with the longest game played in Ivy League history. One of the Big Green’s Ancient Eight rivals earned a wild series victory on home soil and another hit the road to upstate New York and completed a sweep for the first time in the league’s current schedule format.
Boston College upset the No. 1 team in the country, while there were plenty of victories for the teams based in the Ocean State. In addition, Fairfield and Quinnipiac continue to play some of the best ball in the MAAC.
