Many of New England’s Division 1 baseball clubs have storied histories, including some that date back more than a century. This past weekend’s slate saw some outstanding pitching performances and some new names etched into those record books.
A pair of teams cracked the win column for the first time this season as well.
UConn’s history came in sweeping a four-game set. Northeastern’s is a new all-time record holder. Some teams opened their respective conference schedules and others completed or continued spring break trips before opening the local slate.
