Div. 3 Top 10: Upstarts swinging, while Southern Maine, Babson keep winning

As New England’s Division 3 baseball teams start to play games with more regularity, competitive balance begins to even out. Conference schedules begin soon, allowing for the region’s top teams to become even clearer.

The best teams are all in that same boat, just returned from or finishing challenging trips to Florida. Southern Maine and UMass Boston both have five wins entering Wednesday, but stiff challenges remain before it’s time for always-challenging Little East play this weekend.

NEWMAC powers Babson and Wheaton continue to impress against pretty stiff competition, while early-season results from less traditional programs have been hard to ignore.

With that, here is our fourth Division 3 Top 10 of the season as well as a pair of Players of the Week from the NEWMAC:
