The countdown to the Division 1 college baseball season has reached its final week.
The extensive 2021 season preview in our recently-released Winter issue includes a capsule look at all 19 of the region’s teams, the NEBJ Preseason Top 10, and lists 13 players to watch from around the diamond who make up the annual All-NEBJ Preseason Team.
The All-NEBJ Preseason Team is led by four players from both UConn and Boston College, including the trio of juniors at the forefront of the latter team’s high hopes for the upcoming season as well as the MLB Draft to follow in July.
BC and UConn enter the season as the top two teams in NEBJ’s Preseason Top 10. The third and fourth-ranked squads from Northeastern and Rhode Island also have one player each on the All-NEBJ Preseason Team, which includes three Massachusetts natives, two players from New Hampshire, and one from both Connecticut and Rhode Island.
