Another week of Division 1 baseball around the region has led to changes in New England Baseball Journal’s latest Top 10.
The top two teams in the rankings continued their winning ways after their most recent weekend series, but recent runs have helped a new team from the Northeast Conference jump into the fold with the likes of Hartford and Rhode Island continuing to rise. Northeastern now leads the region’s 19 clubs with its nine-win total, but the Rams have used six wins in their last seven games to move right behind.
Varying levels of competition and results are on teams’ individual resumes at this time of the year, but the playing field will begin to even out soon as baseball returns north and more regionalized competition takes place.
