The results for New England’s Division 1 teams over the first three weeks of the season have led to plenty of moving and shaking in our Top 10, even at the top.
Northeastern’s recent winning streak and UConn’s wins during a challenging start have them leading the way entering the first full week of March, while Rhode Island has charged closer to the top following a great weekend against two nationally-ranked foes.
Aside from the former Huskies, the winningest team in New England is still Division 1 newcomer Merrimack. The Warriors have played two conference preseason favorites over their first three series and produced significant results to stand among the best in the Northeast Conference. However, there will be more baseball to judge pretty soon as teams start to trickle north for more regular game play over the next few weeks.
