Division 2 New England power rankings: Southern New Hampshire leads the way

The Division 2 college baseball season kicks into high gear for New England-based clubs in the coming days.

With the first pitch for most teams on the immediate horizon, New England Baseball Journal presents its Preseason Top 5 as chosen by New England coaches and NEBJ staff. This poll and the All-New England Division 2 team were both released as part of the comprehensive college preview package in New England Baseball Journal's winter issue.

All five of the ranked teams entering this season come from the competitive Northeast-10 Conference (NE10), including a pair of NCAA regional qualifiers from last spring — archrivals Southern New Hampshire and Franklin Pierce. Four of the five teams play within the league’s Northeast Division.
