The transfer movement involving New England’s college baseball players hasn’t just been limited to Division 1.
Shortened seasons due to COVID-19 also impacted other levels of the game, so players from the D2 and D3 ranks have taken advantage of the NCAA’s offer of an extra year of eligibility to all spring student-athletes just as well.
Comings and goings are sure to continue over the coming weeks, but several players have already announced future commitments to extend their careers for one more full season. This roundup includes a handful of seniors from D3 programs, including two of last season’s All-New England outfielders who are headed to the sport’s highest level.
