The Futures Collegiate Baseball League was home to some of New England’s top prospects during the unique summer of 2020, but there was no shortage of talent from the region’s vast Division 3 ranks as well.
That group includes two players on each of the two All-FCBL listings, one of the nation’s top prospects from that level and a recent free agent signing by the Boston Red Sox in UMass Dartmouth closer Nate Tellier (Attleboro, Mass.), who was a part of a Brockton Rox roster that included plenty of representation from the D3 ranks.
All six Futures League teams used D3 players at some point during the season including the champion Nashua Silver Knights. Below is a rundown of some of the summer’s top individual performers from that level of college baseball in New England.
