The Founders League coaches met this week via Zoom to select end-of-year awards, such as Players of the Year, All-Founders First Team, Second Team and Honorable Mention.
Founders League Player of the Year recipients included Loomis Chaffee pitcher Davis Hanson and Taft School catcher Beck Milner. Pitcher of the Year selections included Avon Old Farms left-hander Gavin Greger and Taft School right-hander Mike Lorenzetti.
The Underclass awards both went to members of the conference champion Loomis Chaffee (18-2) squad. Loomis '24 Gabriel Tirado earned Underclass Player of the Year. Loomis '23 left-hander Chandler Coe earned Underclass Pitcher of the Year. Coach of the Year went to Loomis coach Donnie McKillop.
