Founders League: Jaw-dropping stats from Loomis Chaffee championship

Loomis Chaffee coach Donnie McKillop can only laugh as he looks through the statistics from his team's Founders League championship season.

Team batting average: .357
Team slugging percentage: 581
Team ERA: 1.70

That's just a sample of eye-popping stats that Loomis compiled on its way to an 18-2 record and Founders League championship.

Loomis Chaffee clinched a league championship for the first time since 2018 with a 5-3 victory over Avon Old Farms in the championship game on May 25.
