As the month of August approaches, it has been a busy stretch of play in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League.
Recent days have been filled with some impressive performances on both sides of the ball, including a no-hitter, a record book-changing effort and a five-hit game.
There has been little change in the standings through it all. The Worcester Bravehearts still hold a narrow edge at the top, carrying a 13-7 record into Friday’s action, but the Nashua Silver Knights have matched the defending champions’ seven wins over the last 10 games and now stand just a half-game behind.
