Like all summer collegiate leagues, the Futures Collegiate Baseball League attracts players from all over the country. But it is no secret that its roots lie deeply right here in New England. Schools on all levels of the college baseball map send players to our home region each and every summer.
For some players, being sent to the Futures League offers a chance to return home after spending a collegiate season elsewhere. Though there was a large focus on local players across the six rosters, the 2020 season was no different in that respect.
