It has been a busy week for the Futures Collegiate League.
Last Monday and Tuesday nights saw the return of All-Star Game festivities taking over the home of the Bees in New Britain, Conn., as well as the culmination of a high-profile MLB Draft class for the 11-year-old circuit.
Since the break came to an end, the 68-game regular-season schedule commenced again and an impressive league record has been matched as part of a perfect -- yes, perfect -- start to July. The Brockton Rox still hold their place as the top team in the standings, which see three teams within three games of the current fourth and final playoff team in the four-time champion Worcester Bravehearts.
