
Team Massachusetts began its push for a national championship today with the first of three games in pool play of the Stinger High School Baseball National Championship in Omaha, Neb.
Massachusetts fell to Georgia, 4-1, with Milton High '25 Scott Longo taking the loss. The Northeastern commit allowed three runs -- one earned -- in four innings. He recorded seven strikeouts. Uxbridge High '25 Charlie Criscola, another Northeastern commit, led the offense with two hits. Milton Academy '25 Davis Kahn had an RBI-single.
Team Massachusetts' final two games in pool play will be played on Friday. The All-Star team from the Commonwealth will face off with Arizona at 2 p.m., before battling with Michigan at 5 p.m. Both games will be televised on ESPN+.
This year’s roster currently includes 17 players in the Class of ’25 and three more in the Class of ’26. A total of 16 states will be represented in the tournament, with a national champion set to be crowned on June 30. Here is a look at the 20 players on Team Massachusetts.
