As the prep baseball scene continues to improve and ramp up its level of play and competition among top schools, so too does the quality of the players and coaches improve.
This past season produced a number of amazing achievements by talented players and dedicated coaches, all worthy of accolades and special recognition.
Earlier this summer, we named our inaugural All-NEBJ Prep School Team — first- and second-teamers, as well as a host of honorable mentions. Those honorees included the likes of senior ace Jackson Emus, who posted a minuscule 0.22 ERA for Phillips Andover; postgrad shortstop Carson Greene, who hit .511 and slugged .822 to help lead Taft to the Founders League title; senior outfielder Evan Sleight, who hit .414 to help power Belmont Hill to the Independent School League championship; and dozens of others.
