A pipeline is being established to NEPSAC baseball programs from Canada. While a majority of those schools tend to seek out talented student-athletes from Maine to California, some have begun to expand beyond our borders.
Canada has become a hotbed for recruiting talented high school players from the Great White North. One of those players is left-handed pitcher Logan Forgie.
Hailing from Ottawa, Forgie arrived at Lawrence Academy as a repeat junior this past fall, having spent his prior years at West Carleton Secondary School. Forgie had the distinct honor of being selected to the Canadian Junior National Team for the U18 Pan Am World Baseball Cup last fall.
Forgie came to the United States to showcase his talents in front of American colleges.
