Former Noble and Greenough assistant coach Paul Everett has been named the school's next head coach, succeeding Rob Murray.
Everett served as an assistant under Murray for the last three seasons, most recently working with pitchers and catchers and serving as the first base coach. Everett also helps run the MWS Devils travel baseball program, based out of Ashland, Mass.
"It's been really cool to absorb how the (Independent School League) worked over the last three years," Everett said. "I realized how talented the league is. We seemingly face D1 commits every game and every week we play.
"I had the opportunity to work alongside Rob, and it was awesome to gain all of the knowledge he passed on to me. He did a tremendous job of preparing kids for the next level. He focused on the mechanics, base-running, and defense. My hope is to continue to carry that out with my group."
