Five ISL teams remain undefeated in league play through two weeks. Defending ISL Tournament champion St. Sebastian's School is no surprise at 2-0, as the Arrows returned ISL Player of the Year Gavin Wainwright '27 on the mound and Northeastern commit Brett Gallo '25 behind the plate.
The other four undefeated teams are not as predictable. Roxbury Latin (3-0), Nobles (2-0), Tabor Academy (2-0) and BB&N (2-0) also remain undefeated in league play. None of those four teams finished as a top-six seed in the ISL Tournament last year. Tabor and Roxbury Latin both fell in the opening round of the ISL Tournament, while Nobles and BB&N finished in the lower half of the standings and the consolation bracket.
Time will tell if the surprise teams can sustain their level of play through the rigors of an ISL season.
For now, let's take a look at some storylines in the ISL.
