Most Independent School League (ISL) teams are approaching the halfway point of the regular season.
Defending ISL champion St. Sebastian's School will be the team to beat again this year. The Arrows improved to 5-0 in league play on Saturday with an 8-2 victory over Lawrence Academy in a rematch of last year's ISL Tournament championship game.
Roxbury Latin (6-2 overall, 4-1 ISL), Nobles (5-1, 3-1), Tabor Academy (5-2, 4-1), and Belmont Hill (5-3, 3-1) seem likely to join St. Sebastian's (5-0 ISL) in the championship bracket, which will include the top eight seeds. Lawrence Academy (3-2 ISL) has the talent to join the aforementioned teams. The last two spots are anyone's guess.
Let's take a look at recent developments in the league for the ISL report.
