
The ISL regular season wrapped up on Saturday with St. Sebastian's School finishing on top of the league standings for the first time since 2018.
The Sebs' regular-season championship is certainly a noteworthy achievement in Matt Duffy's first season as head coach; St. Sebastian's finished sixth in the ISL last spring.
However, for the first time, an ISL regular-season title does not mark the conclusion of the season. ISL coaches voted last offseason in favor of adding an ISL championship tournament, and that will commence this week with the top eight teams facing off in a championship bracket, while the bottom eight teams battle in a consolation tournament.
