The No. 8 Spartans (6-0) took a 4-2 win over conference foe No. 10 Bishop Feehan (4-2) on Monday, benefitting from timely offense and a stout performance from senior Josh Doney (Lynn, Mass.) on the mound.
The southpaw went the distance, striking out four and giving up two earned runs on three hits and a walk across seven innings. He also added an RBI single at the plate. Offensively, senior outfielder Cam McGonagle (Danvers, Mass.) and junior catcher Kyle Doney (Lynn, Mass.) each had a hit and an RBI.
