MIAA D1 and D2 tournaments: Pitchers to watch in the sectional semifinals

The sectional semifinal round of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association state baseball tournament is set to begin.

A week ago, we looked at 25 impact players to watch. Over the course of the last week, several of those players' teams have been eliminated from the tournament.

The sectional champions for each of the MIAA's 15 regions will be crowned on Monday, June 28. Today, we'll take a look at 16 pitchers that might help decide those regional championships.

Here's a look at the pitchers expected to take the ball in the sectional semifinal round.
