The MIAA tournament rolls on.
Whether in Division 1 or Division 5, there has been plenty of excitement throughout the playoffs, be it the preliminary round, the first round or now the Round of 16. We've seen our fair share of upsets, too, especially in Divisions 4 and 5, where neither No. 2 seed reached the Round of 8.
In Division 1, there will be a new champion for the first time in two years as No. 6 Taunton fell at the hands of No. 11 Durfee on Wednesday. The same is true of Division 2, which saw No. 5 Milton go down to No. 12 Woburn on Tuesday.
That all brings us to the Round of 8. The quarterfinal round of the playoffs begins Friday.
As for the Round of 16, let's dive in to which players had exceptional performances.
