The weather might not be heating up just yet, but plenty of teams and players have caught fire in the MIAA. With the Massachusetts high school baseball season in full swing, there's hardly any shortage of exceptional performances to highlight from the second week of action.
You had a pair of power bats at St. John's Shrewsbury leaving the yard multiple times; meanwhile, one of the state's brightest pitchers fired a dominant one-hitter for Weymouth.
Throughout the season, we’ll run a weekly watch list each Friday, recognizing 10 standout performances across the state. A friendly reminder, it is impossible to attend every high school game in Massachusetts, so we rely on reports from coaches and social media accounts to select the performers in a given week. If you have a nominee, please email me at [email protected].
Let’s dive into the Peak Performers from April 4-10.
